About TDI® USA

TDI® USA has been doing restoration work in the Sacramento region since 2017. The company was built around a straightforward premise: water, fire, and mold losses don’t wait for business hours, and the homeowners dealing with them deserve a crew that shows up prepared — not one learning on the job. Eight years in, that hasn’t changed.

What we do

Most days start before most people are awake. A pipe fails overnight, a washing machine supply line lets go, a kitchen fire leaves smoke residue in every room of the house. TDI® USA operates around the clock because that’s when the calls come in. The work itself is methodical: assess the loss, document it thoroughly for the insurance claim, set the drying or remediation equipment, monitor it, and don’t leave until the structure reads dry or the scope is complete. A significant part of the job is communicating with adjusters and carriers — translating what’s happening inside a wall cavity into the language an insurance file requires. Homeowners shouldn’t have to manage that translation themselves, and with TDI® USA, they don’t have to.

Our certifications and licensure

The IICRC — the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification — sets the technical standards the restoration industry runs on. The S500 standard governs water damage drying; the S520 governs mold remediation. TDI® USA holds IICRC Firm Certification, and the team carries individual credentials in Water Restoration (WRT), Structural Drying (ASD), Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT), and Fire and Smoke Restoration (FSRT). These aren’t framed certificates on a wall — they represent tested knowledge of psychrometrics, contamination categories, and smoke behavior that directly affects how a job is scoped and executed.

The team is also OSHA trained, which matters on every job site where demolition, confined spaces, or hazardous materials are involved. TDI® USA is licensed in California (License #1041773), which is a baseline requirement for the reconstruction work that follows remediation — not every restoration company holds a contractor’s license.

Where we work

TDI® USA is based in Sacramento and serves the broader metro area and surrounding communities throughout the Central Valley and the foothills. Sacramento’s housing stock runs the full range — post-war tract homes with original plumbing, mid-century concrete slab construction, and older Craftsman-era properties in neighborhoods like Land Park and East Sacramento where cast-iron drain lines and knob-and-tube wiring are still common. The region’s hot, dry summers and concentrated winter rains create a predictable pattern of roof leaks, storm drainage failures, and deferred moisture damage that surfaces when conditions finally change. TDI® USA knows the area’s building stock and works with local utility providers and permit offices as a routine part of the job.
