Terms of Service

Who These Terms Cover

These Terms of Service apply to anyone who visits tdiusa.com or contacts TDI® USA to request an estimate, schedule work, or ask questions about restoration services. By using this site or engaging our team, you agree to the terms described here. If anything is unclear, reach us at rob@tdiusa.com or call +1 (916) 966-6000 before proceeding.

Service Area and Scope

TDI® USA operates within California and serves the greater Sacramento region from our location at 701 Del Paso Road, Sacramento, CA 95834. We do not guarantee availability for every address or project type — if your property falls outside our current service area or involves work outside our scope, we will tell you promptly so you can find the right help.

The services described on this website are general in nature. Actual scope, materials, and methods are determined after an on-site assessment and documented in a written work-authorization form. Nothing on this site, in an email, or in a verbal conversation constitutes a binding commitment to perform work or a fixed-price contract.

Estimates and Work Authorization

Estimates provided before a signed agreement are good-faith projections based on visible conditions at the time of assessment. Hidden damage — water behind walls, mold inside cavities, structural deterioration under flooring — can alter scope and cost once work begins. Any material change to scope will be communicated to you and documented before additional work proceeds.

The signed work-authorization form is the governing document for every job. It defines the agreed scope, the payment structure, and the responsibilities of both parties. If there is ever a conflict between something on this website and the signed authorization, the signed authorization controls.

Payment Terms

Payment terms, accepted methods, and any deposit requirements are specified in your work-authorization form. We coordinate directly with insurance carriers when a claim is involved, but the property owner or authorized representative remains responsible for any balance not covered by the carrier. We do not accept responsibility for claim decisions made by your insurer.

Insurance Coordination

When you authorize us to work with your insurance carrier, we will document the loss, photograph affected materials, and communicate with your adjuster on your behalf. That coordination is a service we provide to simplify the process — it does not transfer financial liability from you to us, and it does not guarantee any particular claim outcome.

Liability and Regulatory Compliance

TDI® USA operates as a licensed contractor under California state regulations. Our liability is limited to the scope of work described in the signed work-authorization form and is subject to the terms stated therein. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, damage caused by events outside our control, or decisions made by third parties including insurance carriers, subcontractors not engaged by us, or public utilities.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises from work performed under a signed authorization, we ask that you contact us directly first. Most concerns can be resolved through straightforward communication. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes are subject to the laws of the State of California and, where applicable, the jurisdiction of Sacramento County courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at tdiusa.com. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
